Hey Barry, ever think about why there is never enough power and why some people just waste so much of it?   I mean, using a 1500 watt hairdryer on the boat on a cool summer evening to dry some wet women's underwear is one thing, but using it to simply enhance our meager lives is completely another.  I think that if you own a boat, it is your duty to have at least 2000 Amp hours of power available at all times.  If you don't have at least that, whoever is responsible for the power shortage should be taken out behind that woodshed over there and shot.
