The First stop was over to NAS Alameda to view the aircraft.
These aircraft were restored to the original condition and were beautiful.
It was a site to see them fly later in the day.
The second stop was over to the Potomac for a tour of the Presidental Yacht.
The dining area and rear seating area, Jamie looks relaxed.
The electronics and the bridge controls were original.
Karen is now asking for more room on the boat, so please check your networking
budgets for 1997 and see if you can help. The car in the second picture
is electric and is made on the base. We will see if we can get a tour of
the facility at a later date.
The third stop was the Aircraft Hornet, which was not open to the public
yet, but I took some pictures anyway.
And the final stop was the boat show in Oakland.
Bill, I saw this boat and this is what it is going to take to get me to
go fishing with you, Not that you don't have a great boat now, but look
Color TV, VCR, Head with a locking door, Galley, this way I could be comfitable
while I'm thinking about barfing.
And to top the weekend off, Karen and I thought it would be fun to shop
for the newest in High Tech BBQ's.
After 4 hours and 6 stops here is what we found and purchased.
It is the Colman Master Control Center 2000. It comes with remote
control capabilities, a Cisco 2500 Router, 12 port 10BaseT hub, SNMP management
with HP OpenView GUI, and I am able to update the Bushwacker Web site
while I cook and check my email.
Karen wants to know what was wrong with the old BBQ? It was out dated technology
hun!
