The first stop was down to the marina to look at Amity. This could be the next Bushwacker.

Amity is a Spencer 53. She is a clean boat inside and out.

We were so pleased with her that we made John an offer, and if it is excepted we could be heading up the coast Labor Day weekend. Not surprising I had a line of crew ready to go. Sorry for the blurry picture, but that's what you get when you take a picture of a picture.

UPDATE: John and Janet accept offer!

Amity heads north Labor Day Weekend for her new home in Alameda.

And after a brief stop at Nelson's Boat Yard, she will become the new Bushwacker.

Back on the Abacus, we gave the situation some long, hard thought.

Barry really gave it some though, even with all the drinking the championship team of Gary and Ann, lost one to Barry and Karen, better luck next time.

We did more than just drink, we also did some big time eating. We went to the San Diego Yacht club for dinner and had some great burgers at the Boll Weevil.

Karen's mom even made the journey down from LA to check out the new boat.
