Memorial Day weekend 1999
The weather was challenging for California
But it was sunny, but windy and cool, like Portland
We had a great spot thanks, to Barry and Ann of the "Abacus" they went over on Thursday
The anchorage was empty on Friday morning when we got there
As you can see by all the open slips
Karen and Luke were happy to just be away from the dock
Jeff enjoying a nice Merlot on the "Bushwacker"
On Saturday we had a rib feast on the "Bushwacker"
Barry on the "Abacus"
Karen enjoying the day except for her noisy husband with he camera
Rib Feast 99 "Please keep you hands inside the ride at all times"
The best part of being Captain is having someone else do the dishes
A shot from the hillside on Angel Island
By Saturday things were filling up
Another great shot from the hill
The anchorage was starting to get full
Wally and "Dog Days"
Tequila and beer tasting on Sunday afternoon
The happy crew of the "Black Pearl"
Jeff and Wally involved in some deep thought. Here is what I think they are thinking
Wally: "How do I trade my boat for one larger than the Bushwacker?"
Jeff: " Do I have clean underwear on?, do I have any underwear on?"
What Luke was thinking
Luke: " If there were rib bones on the boat, where would they be?"
