Karen and I slip away for the weekend to Treasure Island
We wanted a chance for the three (Luke too) of us to anchor out quietly
The beach was deserted, we had it to ourselves
What a great weekend for doing nothing
Then we found ourselves right in the middle of a race
As always I have to get in some shots of the boat
It's like taking photos of your kids
Later in the afternoon a few other boats joined us. There were 15 in all
Karen thought it would be a
good time to fish seeing that there
was a canning barge anchored near by, must have been from Alaska.
The Coast Guard have a
facility on the Island
This is a buoy tender, ever wonder where those markers disappear to?
More Coast Guard boats
We took Luke for many walks on the beach
Some times he took longer than others
When we got back to the marina RAGE was two slips up from us
Doesn't this guy know
"size does matter"?
75' in a 50 foot slip.....
