July 4th 2001
Is it the 4th of
July already?
I couldn't believe that we are that far into summer already
We started off the week with a BBQ over at Steve and Anna's boat
Lots of good food and beverages before the fireworks show at Jack London Square
Cal enjoyed his
first dock party
The fireworks were awesome, we were
right under them in the dink
From Marina Village we headed to Angel Island
The crew sure were in good spirits
Jeff prepared some of his world renowned Mexican food
Which tastes even better with Margaritas
I was happy to just be sitting in the sun
From Angel Island we went to Sausalito for a few days
A great shot with the Gate behind us
What a view! and the weather was great...
Karen relaxing onboard the Abacus
Some people would pay millions for this view
We had no shortage of food or drink
Or wine
Mr. Luke wants a cracker...
Great shot, great view!
There was one boat
that did catch my eye.
I wonder what he pays a month for a slip?
We did have a
chance to meet and talk to some of their crew members.
A very pleasant group from all parts of the world.
They came onboard,
had a beer, and started cleaning.
I told them their checks were in the mail. I have got to get some crew....
When Jeff left in
their dink to pick up Lori , I though he would never return
This is how he normally accustomed to traveling
Famous
last words from Jeff:
I promised Gary I
would respect his space this trip,
and keep my cabin in tip top shape for the entire trip.
As usual, that lasted less than a day
Next trip your in this cabin, I am putting in the satellite TV as we speak Jeff
