Bushwacker Special Report
It was a lovely
weekend no wind 100 degree weather and the water was like glass.
Karen, Luke and I decided to explore the back side of Frank's Track.
We were stopping occasionally to swim.
Then on channel 16 I hear:
"Coast guard group
Rio Vista, there is a vessel on fire at the Delta Bay Club."
That's where were at...
He then he goes on to say it's right by the store.
That's were the Bushwacker is...
We look up in that general direction and here is what we see.
Panic starts to run through my mind. I think that is the fastest the ski boat has gone since I have owned it.
We could see the smoke for miles. I was thinking it looked like diesel fuel burning
What the marina looked like when we arrived.
Thank god no one was hurt. The boat was a total loss.
Quick thinking getting it out of the shed and away from the other boats.
That night Tow Boat US floated the boat and towed it off.
That night we just relaxed and did some fishing under a full moon.
