    July 4th 2005    

The Bushwacker in it's fine 4th of July sprit

 

 

 

It was one of our quieter 4th of July weekends. Typically we are in the Delta by this time each year raising hell

 

But with Abacus being sold and the new Nordic 42 on the right being purchased. That's correct Power Boat Time!
It looks like the Pacific Northwest is just a few weeks away.

 

Quinn's Lighthouse was a great place to stop for a beer. Karen in the spirit of things

 

Enjoying sun, drinks, food  and dogs on deck

    

We used a whole tank of gas and really put some miles on the dinks. Wally in his new dink

Friday 7-29 It's 10 o'clock at night on a Friday night. I hear a distress call on channel 16.
51' power vessel on the rocks, 17 people aboard,

The next morning Bill and I go out to get a look. They must have been traveling at a high rate of speed in an
area they  don't know. Must be from Florida (FL numbers on the bow)
