The Delta Bay Club was almost full to capacity. We had a great spot and even decorated the coach.
Our first stop on the Waverunners was to Mandeville Cut to watch the crowds arrive
Here are a few shots of the place. It was almost full.
And the party was just getting started. We had 4 days till show time.
The Coast Guard making a stop at the bead barge. This had to be the largest raft up I have seen.
One of my favorite boats. Me and Mr. Luke
Karen and I at Potato Slough
Jim and his crew on Silas Clyde. Yes another Nordic Tug 42. Hey look a topless girl....
The new Spindrift store/restaurant/bar was a hit at Happy Hour, and the prices were almost the same as the Yacht Club..
Then I saw this. Could it be???
After all these years I run into Bill's old girl friend. She hadn't changed much
and still had the spirit.
I don't think we could have gotten any closer to the show
After dinner we were ready for the show
I didn't realize that all the new bridge pieces for the Bay Bridge came down from Stockton
This is an strange site. A cargo ship in the Delta. It just doesn't look right.
Of course no trip would be complete without a trip to Walnut Grove and some great Mexican food.
Then as quick as it started it was all over. Only a few boats remained. Oh well till next year...
