Memorial Day 2006
I felt like summer
was finally here. Karen, I and Luke went over on Thursday to get a good spot.
The
Bushwacker has an auto pilot but we never really used it. Karen and I took it
out and used it for the first time.
It was like having an extra crew member that would pay attention. I felt like I was on a power boat.
Jim followed in his
new Nordic Tug 42. Look familiar? Yes, just like the
Abacus but brand new.
I think this will be our next boat.
And then the
raft up started to grow.
Dave and Susan, along with Gary and Diana joined in the middle so we could
connect to Jim
Jeff was the next to arrive. My
trip to Tiburon to pick him up was pretty dry. Oh and Mr. Luke was there.
Mr. Luke has NOT missed a single raft up in 13 years. Can you say that?
And then there were more. Mike and Wendy plus crew , Jolly and his crew, and Doug and Linda and crew joined us.
Mike acting like it was the first
outing of the year (see the 07 stickers).
The raft up continues to grow as Derek, Sharon, Will and Mary arrive.
We ate and drink for 5 days, and relaxed
Thank you Dave for these photos. Nice to see it from someone else view
It was so calm we went out by the gate. Jim said he needed to tan. Karen and Luke were with me
More tanning going on. Thank you Diana for the photos
Great shot of the flags off the sterns of the boats and a great day for a hike
Here are some mew pictures from Doug and Linda. Views from the top of the hill
Ever been to hidden Lake? There is one, here are some shots of it
The cove. Doug and Linda at the point
On Monday it started to break up as people went home
Next stop back at the dock. Great
time was had by all.
Next weekend our first trip in the motor home we will be going to the Delta Bay
Club by land.
Famous saying for the weekend (other than "I'm all in")
"I'm Batman, pull my finger."
Did you get some great shots this weekend? Send them to me and I will add them
