UPDATE: 3-26-02
We took the new
ride for a spin around downtown Santa Cruz yesterday.
Amazing what you can get away with when you duct tape on an old license
plate...
and the only reason I got stopped was for not having enough tread
on my tires.
Now over the last few months Bushwacker Racing lost 500+ pounds (2.5 Garys as Jeff stated)
Jeff literally built a paint booth and carbon fiber fitting room to custom make all the pieces
It was a cozy 80 degrees
Most of the car is assembled with just one fender piece left to complete
Look at the detail he put into this. Every piece removed from the body and painted
The other side should look like this side when finished
Here is a shot of the interior, notice the new carbon fiber dash
Everything new, clean..
Under the hood he even painted the fuel cell so it would match
Another shot
Here is a view from the front. The paint was so nice it looked like you could eat it...
Here is a new modification. The hood has an air duct built into it to keep the nose down
Another shot from the front
All we need now is the logo kit and away we go
We had to fire our last design agency, "Bailey Industries"
for the poor job they did on the new Bushwacker Racing Logo.
This was the second place logo
