December 31, 1998  Jeff and Lori host a New Years Eve party in their new house. 20 of their closest friends come over and eat and drink them out of house and home. Not to mention leave a big mess. Welcome to the neighborhood! Happy 1999!

December 25, 1998  We take a trip to Santa Barbara to spend Christmas with Barry and Ann's family.
San Jose is in the middle of a freeze, and we are in shorts for five days down there.

December 23, 1998  We finally get all moved in and the web site gets some attention. We have the family over for Thanksgiving Dinner in the new house.

October 30th, 1998 We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this weekend. Many of you were at our wedding in Lake Tahoe. I must say it's been 5 good years and I would do it again. No kidding, Karen didn't make me say that. Sorry no more pictures as it was a private moment.

October 20th, 1998 We could experience some down time with the web site as Both the Sherry's and the Stevenson's move in the month of November. See pictures of the Sherry's new place. Knowing that Jeff won't be out done, I expect pictures soon of his place.

October 18th, 1998 Captain takes time out for family day. That's right! He's not the selfish person we thought he was, but a kind family man at heart.

October 11th, 1998 Dave has christening party for Black Pearl (Old Bushwacker) . He sure has taken care of the boat and it was a proud moment.

October 11th, 1998 It's that time of year again, when the US Navy sponsors Fleet Week, and the bay is buzzing with the Blue Angels. Also the USS Hornet Museum is now open.

September 8th, 1998 The crew of the Bushwacker and the vessel Abacus head out to South Beach Marina and San Francisco. Follow this link as we explore the city and some of it's sights. After seeing all the Muni stories on TV and spending the weekend in the city, I have come to the conclusion that "Muni Sucks" ,don't bother trying to find a cab either. Those boat shoes were made for walking

August 15th, 1998 First to Sears Point Raceway, then back to the marina for Tudi's birthday party. At one point the fire department was called with all the smoke from the BBQ's. But after chicken and beers all was well. Happy Birthday Tudi!

August 15th, 1998 With all this hype about the Bushwacker race car, I decide to take a trip to Sears Point raceway to see if this machine exists or if it's just Jeff's imagination going wild. Ride along as Jeff takes the Captain for a spin. It's no Corvette (just kidding Jeff) but man does it go!

August 5th, 1998 Sister Sue wants to use the world wide web to share family vacation photos with family members far away, "how sweet, I reply, but the Bushwacker site is used solely for Jeff and my benefit" . Money changes hands, pictures are added to site. I love America.

July 14th 1998 Jeff gets serious about racing his 911.  Completely strips his Porsche and puts new body panels on it, puts in a new 1997 993 300hp Porsche engine in it, and gets ready to go to the paint shop.

July 4th, 1998 Crew of the Bushwacker heads out to Angel Island for 4 days. Winds were high on the way back and we get some great pictures under sail. Freedom Rider links up with us mid week, and of course any two boats going in the same direction is a race.

April 4th 1998 John, Janet and the family come down to San Jose to visit the crew of Abacus, Azure, and Bushwacker.
