July 2010 Capt. Mike gets the Bushwacker to San Francisco without a scratch. We had to spend a week waiting for better weather in Bodega Bay but Greg joins us and we make the best of it. We finally arrive in Alameda on July 4th. Jeff joins Karen, I, Mike and Sandy for a little celebration. Look out Bay area we are back! Follow this link for the movie.

May 27th 2010 Karen, Bill, Doug and I  head up to the boat thinking we were going to bring it to California for the summer, but mother nature has other plans, as she sends 7 straight days of weather our way. No worries we head out to Friday Harbor and enjoy 6 days on the boat. I think we will try again during the 4th of July. Follow this link for the movie.

March 27th 2010, We take a tour of the The Jacques Littlefield Military Vehicle Collection and see what has to be the largest private collection of tank and military vehicles around. Barry set up the tour and as you can see we had a great turn out. Glad everyone could make it out. I will add new pictures as I get them emailed to me. Enjoy.
Christmas and New Years 2009. Karen and I take a trip out to see Robert, Jackie, and Ashley in Tucson AZ. We have 12 days of just awesome fun. We went Quad'ing, shopping, sightseeing, to the nutcracker, the gun range, hiking, eating and drinking. We enjoyed Christmas dinner and New Years with them. It is sure going to be hard to get back into the swing of things at home. Next time let's not wait 2 years to do it again. Follow this link for the movie.
November 2009, Karen and I fly up to the boat for the Thanksgiving break. We install a new AIS system on the boat and do a lot of sightseeing of the surrounding area. It was so cold up there, but being on the boat was worth it. I don't think we will be moving up there any time soon. Follow this link for the movie.
October 23,2009. Barry and I take the RV up to Jeff's place for a party weekend, and what a weekend it was. Glad I had the RV to stagger back to. Great food, music and wonderful people. I also had a chance to try out my new Sony camera. Bill Bailey also added some one his photos to round out the movie.

September 2009 Karen, Jack and I head North again for what could be the final trip of the 2009 season. We catch a ton of crab the first few days out and feasted on them for a week. We go to the North Pacific Rendezvous in Poets Cove Canada where 29 other North Pacific Yachts also show up. We also meet up with the Abacus for a few days. Follow this link for the movie.

July 2009, Karen, Jack and I take the Bushwacker up to Desolation Sound in Canada and all points in between. We hook up with Barry and Ann aboard the Abacus and do a little Buddy boating. Susi and Dennis also join us at the half way point. We really put the boat and the crew through the paces. We see mostly sun, with a couple  of days of rain and a day of stormy weather. Everything works real well and a good time is had by all.

May 2009, Karen, Jack and I take the Bushwacker out for the maiden voyage. But wait go on a maiden voyage without Bill who has been on everyone so far?, not likely we pick Bill up at SeaTac on the way bye and he joins us for the first week. I think he drove the boat more than I did. I hear the Abacus will be ready to join us for the July 4th trip. Follow this link for the movie of the trip

April 2009. Karen, Jack and I head north to see the Bushwacker for the first time and start out fitting her for summer. What a boat!. I can't believe we got all the work done in a week. A special thanks to the North Pacific Yachts Staff Trevor, Rick and Shaun for "getting er done". I will say they take the pain out of buying a new boat. Follow this link for the pictures and the movie.

April 2009. Barry and I get our Captains licenses renewed. We now have 100 Ton Masters licenses. WOW did 5 years just go by?

March 2009. The new North Pacific 43 "Bushwacker" is completed and loaded on the ship for the long awaited delivery to Seattle on March 22nd. I feel like a new father, well without the poopie diapers and all the crying that is. Now the real fun starts. Look out West Marine. My credit card will need a special cooling fan.
Enjoy the pictures and movie of the entire build process....

New Years 2008 and what a party it was. We head North from Point Reyes in the RV to Jeff and Lori's house for one of the best parties I have been to in years. Some people were even in the hot tub till 5am, these are the same people who can barely stay up for the 10 o'clock news. Well another year behind us. Happy New Year!
Enjoy the movie....

Christmas 2008. Karen, Jack and I head out for a road trip to Point Reyes in the RV with the final stop being Jeff's New Years Eve party. Here's a movie of our journeys around the area as we do some sightseeing. It was nice to just have a week off and relax after that year... I am sure you know what I mean. I wish the boat would get here soon. Just a few more weeks. I can't wait.

December 12, 2008. With winter approaching Barry and I make the dash North to Oak Harbor WA to deliver the equipment and gear for the new Bushwacker which is due in the next two months. We make it over the pass just in time. What a ride 2160 miles after our little jaunt into Canada to pick up 2 polished stainless steel anchors. The last morning we saw 10 degrees with snow and ice. Glad to be home. Check out the movie Barry did of the trip.

Thanksgiving 2008. The Bailey's invite us up to their cabin for Thanksgiving dinner. We do a little sightseeing in the gold country and explore some new territory. A special thanks to Bill and Kris, and the boys for having us. And also to Pico for keeping Jack busy. Follow this link for the movie.

November 8th 2008. We take a road trip up to Jeff's house and partied, ate great food and bottled wine like there is no tomorrow. What a weekend. Great food, great wine, great music, great friends. If I could have gotten a stimulus check life would have been perfect. Great job on the video Barry.... Follow the link for the movie.

Aug 2008, Barry and I head up to Canada to get the Abacus ready for summer. We head south to look at the North Pacific 43's in Anacortes and Oak Harbor. We like what we see and I write a check for a new one. Hull 44, The new Bushwacker, will be here next year. We then head off for Seattle with Harry and Pat and pick Ann up at the airport. Next trip will be on my new boat.

July 28th 2008. The Bushwacker has been up for sale for a few months now and sadly I must say I sold her. What a fine vessel and a great 11 years of service I had from her. But as I also say "Out with the old and in with the new. Get a sneak peak at the new Bushwacker being built as we speak. That's right the new one is on order and will arrive early next year.

July 4th 2008. It's been awhile since we had a vacation movie. I am going to try and make up for that with two trips this month. First one is to the Delta with an RV and ski boat trip and the second is my yearly trip aboard the Abacus up in Canada. Watch for the movies.
